About the e-Novel Hugo Theme

The Vision

This project, created by Ashenara, is a love letter to both writing and modern web development. We chose Hugo for its incredible speed and simplicity, allowing authors to publish their work without worrying about complex backends or slow loading times. The entire site is built from simple Markdown files, putting the focus squarely on what matters most: the words.

Whether you’re writing a serial web novel, publishing a collection of short stories, or building a world with a companion blog, this theme provides the foundation you need.
